Admission Requirements & Applicant’s Responsibility: How to Apply

Prospective students

Covenant University aims to provide prospective students with information about our undergraduate programmes, the application, and admission processes. In addition to exploring our website, prospective students can join our mailing list to get information about Covenant University, admissions, and more. Prospective students can also learn about our undergraduate programmes and the application process by physically visiting our Admissions Office on-campus.

Before you Apply

Prospective students of Covenant University must have obtained the JAMB form, choose Covenant University and must have sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), as prescribed in the relevant advertisement for the admission exercise. However, you can do a change of institution on the JAMB portal if Covenant University was not your initial choice.

Next, read through the prospectus and the entry requirements for your programme of interest. Review the details that you meet all requirements both at the O’ Level and the UTME subject combinations.

Applicant’s Responsibility: Application Form

Now you are set to begin your application. You can proceed to the Admissions Portal and create an account, so you can fill in all the details in the application form before you submit. You will be required to make a non-refundable application fee of Ten Thousand Naira Only (N10, 000). This covers the application form, and other administrative charges, the post-UTME screening fee and result verification fee.

Payment can be made using any of the following Debit Card: Verve, Visa and MasterCard. Please note that an Application Number will be generated immediately you made the payment. You are required to click on the payment button on the first page of the form after you have successfully created the account and follow the procedures.

Note: As you proceed in filling out the application form, remember to save the uncompleted application form for completion at a later date. An application can only be accepted after the candidate has paid the prescribed fees.

In the same vein, the University will not release any document (original, photocopied, or electronic) to the student or a third party after they have been filed as application records.
