I’m excited to continue making a meaningful impact and creating a lasting legacy through my entrepreneurial pursuits, music ventures, and professional endeavours. Currently, I’m the CEO and Founder of Plugin, a revolutionary platform connecting freelancers, service providers, and clients across Africa. I’ve led Plugin to launch impactful charity campaigns like “Love in Action,” which has benefited over 500 lives across 12 states in Nigeria. In addition to my role at Plugin, I excel as a Project Manager, Brand Storyteller, and Video Editor, bringing creative flair and business acumen to every project. I’m also passionate about sustainability, driving initiatives like “EcoBin” to make a positive impact on our environment. As a music entrepreneur, I merge my creative talents with business savvy, promoting African music and artists globally. My diverse skill set and dedication to innovation have enabled me to drive positive change and make a lasting impact.
My time at Covenant University was transformative, but one experience that significantly influenced my life and career path was serving as the Community Development Officer on the Student Council. This role granted me the privilege of access to build lifelong relationships with students, faculty, and staff, which has been invaluable in my personal and professional journey. As a student leader, I was responsible for producing events that brought the community together and created a lasting impact. One notable experience was organizing a gospel concert that celebrated faith and unity. Additionally, I led an SDG initiative, organizing a cleaning exercise that beautified our campus. Moreover, the relationships I built during my time on campus have become a supportive network that continues to inspire and motivate me to achieve my goals. Overall, my experience at Covenant University was a pivotal moment in my life, shaping my values, skills, and aspirations, and I am forever grateful for the opportunities and experiences that shaped me into the person I am today.
Discovering my life’s purpose was a transformative experience that unfolded through a series of encounters with God. One significant moment occurred during a worship meeting called WHITE – Worship Him in The Evening, before my 200-level holidays. As I sought God’s guidance, He impressed upon my heart a clear mandate: ‘Impact Lives, Give Back.’ This divine instruction resonated deeply, and I began to explore God’s Word for further understanding. Through consistent reading of scriptures and prayer, God equipped me with a passion to make a positive difference in the lives of others. I realized that my purpose extends beyond personal achievements to embracing a larger calling – to impact humanity and culture. This revelation has shaped my decisions, relationships, and endeavours, fueling my desire to serve and bring value to others. Since then, I’ve experienced numerous moments of divine guidance and confirmation, solidifying my conviction to pursue a path that aligns with God’s plan for my life. Today, I’m committed to living out this purpose, trusting that God will continue to empower me to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those around me.
Covenant University has equipped me with the skills and mindset needed to succeed in my field in several ways:
After leaving Covenant University, I faced a challenging moment when I struggled to balance the demands of my work and personal life. With multiple projects and responsibilities, I found myself overwhelmed and exhausted, making it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance. To overcome this, I: – Prioritized my tasks and set realistic goals – Established a schedule and stuck to it – Learned to say “no” to non-essential commitments – Made time for self-care and relaxation – Sought support from loved ones and mentors. By implementing these strategies, I was able to achieve a better balance between my work and personal life, reducing stress and increasing productivity and overall well-being. This experience taught me the importance of setting boundaries, prioritizing self-care, and seeking support when needed.
My approach to leadership is centered around servant leadership, empowerment, and collaboration. I believe in leading by example, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture, and equipping others to succeed. Covenant University has empowered me to become a confident, compassionate, and effective leader, equipped to make a meaningful difference in my sphere of influence.
