Yes, the answer is yes. Covenant University requires students to wear corporate clothes to class and Chapel services, but they are permitted to wear casual clothing at other times. Jeans are not permitted on campus. The same is true for clothing that does not adequately cover the body. You must have heard the saying that says, “The way you dress, is the way you will be addressed.” Ours is royalty – kings and queens, so we dress the path and look like one.

3. On Communication

Are cell phones permitted at Covenant University?

Phones are prohibited at Covenant University, but this does not preclude the use of other devices. You may bring laptops, iPads, iPods, tablets, and even cameras to school, but you must not bring a SIM-enabled device. The goal is to cut down distractions as much as possible and focus on the best of experience and education.

4. On Accessibility

Not to talk about the wide range of sporting activities you can engage in at weekends and evenings to rejuvenate & recreate.

Covenant University offers students the opportunity to interact with industry professionals through seminars and town and gown events, where a professional in your field of study will come to talk to you about what is going on in your profession and how you may go ahead as a student. Covenant University also hosts events for corporations to meet and connect with students, to hire them possibly; an example is the career fair.

10. On Exeats

Can I leave the campus if I want to?

You cannot leave the campus without an exeat as a student, just like the way a corps member cannot leave the NYSC orientation camp without an exeat. An exeat is similar to a permission slip that is only granted if you have legitimate reasons to leave school. All you have to do is to make an application and you’re granted an exeat upon review.

Has this been insightful for you?

We can’t wait to have you join us. Overall, Covenant University provides its students with a safe and serene environment that is conducive to learning, research and all-round growth. The impact can be felt wherever they go in the world.
