At Covenant University, I obtained both my B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Architecture in the pioneer set. In my second year at Covenant University, I was given an assignment in Entrepreneurship Development Studies (EDS) to write about my future goals & aspirations. The task was to be submitted at the beginning of the new session. Surprisingly, 85% of what I had written that day has become my reality 20 years later. Today, I'm the CEO of Adeline Signature Designs, a building design company that caters to clients' interior & exterior spatial design, landscape, furniture, & soft furnishing needs. I'm also a Personal Development Coach & the founder of Vision Board Africa. Dr. David O. Oyedepo, the Chancellor of Covenant University, has profoundly impacted me. Whenever he spoke, my mind opened up to wisdom beyond my years. Covenant's core values, & specialized courses fostered a unique vision that I now instill in my children & work environment. The university taught me the importance of delayed gratification, grit, & hard work, shaping my growth mindset & leadership.

My time at Covenant University exposed me to principles that shape who I am today. I was praying and the Holy Spirit mentioned the University to me for the first time, I had not heard of the university before that time. God wants me to help 2 billion people across the globe to discover their God ordained purpose, maximize their potential and invariably become wealthy. Engineering is designed to shape one's mind for professing solutions to problem. It has and still is building in me, the possibility mentality of actualizing this calling. The core values imbibed by the university as well as courses like TMC and DLD have taught me some of the leadership characteristics that I am engaging in some leadership positions that I find myself within and outside of Covenant University. I caught the vision to start my podcast & organization called Trinity Podcast and Trinity respectively here in Covenant university. My course, course mates and lecturers have all been massive agents of motivation and development. The core values of sacrifice, capacity building and possibility mentality helped me in running my organization and self-development. Trust me, there is no better place! Covenant University is a destiny development workshop!

I came to Covenant University because two of my older sisters came here. One of them told my parents that it’s a must I come here because of the kind of experiences and leverage she got from being a student here. In my department, I met other individuals of like minds, so I have built godly friendships. Honestly, I don’t know why I chose my course of study, but it has broadened my mind to see things from a greater perspective. I am more conscious of what is happening in the world and in my country and I am moved to do something about the state of our country Nigeria. I attended IGNITE Covenant University and ever since I have received more fire on my prayer altar and my personal worship and bible study. I’ve enjoyed every moment of my stay in Covenant University especially my service unit- CUTG and the events like The Late Morning Show (TLMS) by Ginikachukwu, Jokes On You (JOY) Comedy Show by Toby Afilaka but to mention a few. To aspiring students, I advise coming in with an open mind and focusing on the opportunities available. Most importantly, prioritize your relationship with God. Do it for yourself, not to impress others.

I have always been someone with big dreams and aspirations. I wasn’t certain of my university choice until my final year in high School. My parents and I had one goal in mind, that I get the best education possible. That was when we discovered Covenant University, the No. 1 University in Nigeria. What better way to achieve that goal than to gain admission into this prestigious university. Studying Architecture has moulded me and helped me build capacity in all ramifications. It’s been an amazing ride. One filled with challenges as well and shared victories. I enjoyed the shared studio time in Architecture. Does the University have agents or representatives to process admission?

Covenant University does not have agents or representatives to process admission. Please do not use any third-party agent in processing applications. In the same vein, the University does not use personal account numbers to make payments for the application form, acceptance fee, school fees or any other payments. Furthermore, the University does not send application forms individually to candidates via personal email or text message. The call for admission is open publicly and accessible on the University website only. As a result, a candidate must log in to the Covenant University admission portal to fill out the application form when the admission portal is opened. Lastly, the University does not assume legal liability for the use of any such third party, money paid to such individual’s account or any omission committed as a result of the use of the third party.

What is the minimum admission age for Covenant University?

The minimum admission age for Covenant University is 15 years as of matriculation, which falls in November every year.

Does Covenant University conduct post-UTME exercise?

Yes, Covenant University conducts post-UTME screening for new students which is called Covenant University Scholastic Aptitude Screening (CUSAS). After submitting your application, you’ll be able to book your screening date and attend either virtually or physically.

Do I need to come to Covenant University to obtain the application form?

No, you don’t. Application forms are only available for purchase and submission online on the University website. Please visit the Admission website to get started here.

Can I get past questions for the Post-UTME?

Please note that past questions are not available; we do not endorse any merchant disguising to sell post-UTME past questions of the University. The questions are as intuitive as other examinations already sat for by the candidates.

Can I change the institution/programme/course of study from the course chosen in my UTME?

Yes, you can, please visit the UTME portal to do this, however, you can wait till you get a provisional admission offer before doing this.

Does Covenant University offer Medicine, Law, Aeronautics Engineering and Nursing?

Presently, we don’t. However, plans are on the way for the commencement of the colleges of law and medicine respectively. Be rest assured to get notified via the University website.

What Kind of Character and Attitude is Expected of a CU Student?

A godly character, complaint with the core values and the University rules and regulations. For example, at Covenant University, students dress corporately and decently. There is zero tolerance for behaviours that do not portray royalty and godliness. Fighting, stealing, assault, theft, violence, and examination malpractice are forbidden among students. Please see the Student Handbook for more details.

What is the minimum entry requirement?

The minimum entry requirement for undergraduate programmes in Covenant University is the possession of credit level passes in 5 subjects at the Ordinary Level examination of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/IGCSE. The subjects must include English Language and Mathematics. These must have been obtained at not more than two sittings. There are other requirements that may be specific to a College and/or a Programme. Please refer to the Prospectus.

What is the range of the school fee at Covenant University?

Fees are relatively affordable when compared with the value and quality we provide. However, fees differ slightly across the programmes. The fees are published annually before the commencement of a new session on our website, please be on the lookout for it. Click here to see the fee structure for the last session.

Does Covenant University accept transfer students and direct entry from other institutions?

No, we don’t because of the curated style of our training model; it is best started from the foundation -100 level.

What is the Cut-off Mark for this year’s admission cycle into Covenant University?

The Realistic Institutional Admittable Minimum UTME Scores (RIAMUS) generally known as Cut-off Mark for this year’s admission cycle into Covenant University is yet to be released. Please be on the look out.
